Jon Distler - Home Recorded (Free Music, Review) @noisetrade #acoustic #gospel

^^Widget Above^^

For Fans of :  Matthew West, Brandon Heath, Paul Baloche

Overall Thoughts:

Very somber to passionate acoustic worship .. the vocals are a tiny tiny tiny tiny bit rough.. but it sounds great.. (more like a live performance) .. the female/male harmony is well executed .. and sound great.

When the sound gets louder and there is an extreme amount of bass.. the sound quality seems to kind of lose quality to me.. but it does not happen often and I am sure with an equalizer this could be dealt with..

I cannot understand why I seem to like this type of recording and singing .. rather than the big band with the perfect recordings.. this just.. I don't know.. just sounds so much more real I guess

Deep messages.. all true and REAL .. very open and transparent into the spirit

Recording Thoughts:

Pretty Good ... Semi-Professional on the line with being amateur at parts

Stand Outs:

"Where I Long To Be" - very much enjoyed the passion!  And the strong lyrics as well!

"Straight From My Heart" - dealing with the problems of just not knowing.. where your going.. what you need to do.. where God wants you to be.. feeling broken.. and lost.. but looking to Christ to make it though.. such a pure message here.. transparent to some of the true problems we deal with

"Call Out To Jesus" - I really like the scratchy.. rough feeling of the vocals in this one.. and then the very melodic chorus .. very inviting

"50 Years" - A testament to marriage.. love can last!
