1-3

We are seeing a 'rock bottom' moment

Psalm 16:8 - WILL NOT BE SHAKEN

2 Cor. 4:8-11 - STRUCK DOWN BUT NOT DESTROYED

2 Kings 25:4-7

Imagine something like this being the last thing you ever saw.. wow

8-12

Even by switching sides.. they still were exiled... 

Have things ever been SO bad you wanted to 'jump ship' .. or 'switch sides'? 

13-17

Everything was taken.. wow

The bronze work was so heavy... it seems they broke them into pieces to carry them

The Israelites now have NOTHING left.. the HOUSE OF THE LORD is desolute of the former 'material' qualities...BUT there were things that COULD NOT BE TAKEN.. but were BEYOND WEIGHT.

Is there anything in your life that you think would be BEYOND WEIGHT?

SO... Judah was taken into exile

22-26

Many deaths

and those left... ran away

27-30

Evil-Merodach ... wow.. what a name

Is this with the king at the end a 'ray of light' for the nation

Discussion Questions:

What is a hardship you 'carry within' .. either you are still going through it, or God has brought you through it?

When was a time you ever felt surrounded and you had no hope?

How did God open your eyes to understand the truth?

Have things ever seemed so bad have you ever wanted to 'jump ship'?

What has satan sold you on that was not what you expected to get in the end?
