1 Samuel 9 & 10

Saul chosen to be king

Saul was taller and extremely handsome - would you pick this king?

God was giving the Israelites exactly what they wanted, but us this what they actually needed?

How many times do we go to God, and not bring anything to meet Him with (Saul was concerned about this in meeting a man of God)

Saul even had humbleness in the acceptance of the roll of king

God gives us the ability that we need to do what He needs us to do - even if we do not think that we are good enough to do it.

Sometimes we rebel even when God gives us what we want..

Has God ever appointed you to do something and given you a heart to do it?

Have you ever asked God for something and received it but decided that you didn't like it at all?

Have you ever asked and got something else that was better than you asked for.?
