According to Gordon's Twitter account he is only offering this here for one week - so get it while it is HOT!!
Normally it would take me longer to pop out a review, but with the offering being so few days I thought I would get it out while you could still listen and download.
Gordon Gregory has a melodic performance in these songs - great calming and almost relaxing sound - his voice has these same qualities to just make that whole sound POP, giving you a great listening experience. Well put together and spiritually informative as well!
Stand Outs (It is all of them):
"Hindsight" - the title is enough to understand what this song is about! Knowing now what you learn later, looking back on life decisions - on heartbreak, loss, just hurts - hindsight is a cure that time gives us as a remedy. We understand so much more in the future... about our past - even if we still do not understand our present.
"Phoenix" - this one feels a tiny bit odd musically, but still very good. "wound me to heal me" ... wow! "let your spirit come and make me whole" It take a mature man/woman of God to understand the process of brokenness that God has for us "this death might be the start of life in me" I certainly understand and even still pray the prayer in this song "won't you come and make me whole"
"Healed" - Each of these songs deal with healing. differing ways to see God's healing power - this song deals with it as well, but more of a reminder of knowing that God IS IN THAT BUSINESS! It is beautiful to understand this! To have this hope - this love!
Take a listen - you may look at your life differently with the hindsight and you may rise again much like the phoenix and receive the spirit of God that will make you healed! :)
