The Only Superman!

Take a listen to 'Five Smooth Stones' - 'Superman' up above in the noisetrade widget. Now! First off these guys are interesting. On one hand I want to say that some of the music has an almost irritating feel, but not TOO bad - then on the other hand - the sound is just right and melds well with the vocalist. Anyway... Have you listened to 'Superman' yet? No... well get up there and click on it... I am waiting ...k .. there we go

Now, those that know understand that there is always a good chance that I may have a superman shirt on (especially in church). "Why?", might one ask. Well the answer is quite clear in the song above. Jesus is the only REAL superman! Don't get me wrong, I honestly do like Superman (my fav. superhero - then wolverine, for other reasons that may come up later) anyway Superman is a great superhero - all that power but never afraid to withhold the fullest for the sake of justice. He knows and understands full well that he is not the judge and the jury, but knows when to throw a punch as well. Mostly it is just that - to have great power and not abuse it - to use it in such a way to better the world.

Superman could never even truly do that, but Jesus can - and has! He took everything - we can go to Him and give him all the trash, sin, destruction, hurt, pain (hurts, habits, hangups) in our lives and He loves us for it. He has that power! He is the ONLY REAL SUPERMAN!
