Some are not the best recordings - but they may just be older recordings, actually it makes me feel like I am listening to a tape when I listen to them - so I am not sure! So with all that in mind - the recordings are not even all that bad - it just feels like a tape or a radio station. And some of them sound like really good recordings.
The music is great!
Definitely of the Worship genre, but with a R&B vibe, and even some rap feel to it as well - though the rap would be old timey DCtalk kind of Rap, which is awesome :)
Stand Outs:
"Be Violent" & "Bow The Knee"- This is certainly not really a chant of 'the christian' but I understand the idea that is being portrayed - our spirits are in warfare, are you going to give up every time that you are enticed or temped to sin? This is not really the lifestyle that Christ died for - so a proactive attitude, or preventative attitude that is almost violent in keeping yourself from sin, can be wonderful for you in that spiritual battle! These ideals or principalities MUST fall and die when we do this! We have POWER, but not exactly as power is 'socially acceptable', but it should be!
"Breakthru" - the best example of the DCtalk/R&B/rap type worship! Very cool!
