For Fans Of amos lee, portugal the man, maxwell, lauryn hill, jose gonzalez
Acoustic and vocal - both pretty good, the recordings are pretty rough in parts - though not hurting the quality of the music too much
I am not sure I 'get' all the songs, but I really do like the sound - and the songs I do 'get' I 'get' :)
Stand Outs:
"African Jesus" - This one I do not get 100% ... and that is ok... no biggie - if you understand this ... let me know in the comments
"Be The Light" - This one I 'get' .. very clear here - being 'the light' is much more than just standing around and shining, judgments will destroy that light ... pretty good thoughts on this
"No Love No You" - I like this because it really shows a deeper understanding to the relationship that should be there... The title really shows the message - Simple... yet so, so deep
Really cool - down to earth sound, I liked it - and hope you will as well
