Kevin Max - Fiefdom of Angels (Free Music, Review) @noisetrade #pop #alternative

^^Widget Above^^

For Fans of :  dctalk, John Lennon, Morrissey, David Bowie, Queen

Overall Thoughts:

I almost did not download this.. because I found the album he put out after the DC Solo.. I really did not like.. it was too weird.. but this.. understanding what this is.. I liked it.. it is still a bit odd, but it is odd in my direction of odd... in that it really grabs the fantasy.. and to be perfectly honest.. I missed these vocals..

At least having an understanding of where these songs are coming from .. it makes it more understandable.. and it really paints that fantasy picture.. the angelic warriors... the majestic beasts.. the epic size ..

Recording Thoughts:

Very Good ... Professional

take a listen ... get a download.. and TIP!!!

  1. So, am I to understand that aside from his first solo album, Stereotype Be, you haven't heard any of the rest of his albums?

"Between the Fence and the Universe" has an awesome cover of "Hallelujah." His vocals on that song are amazing.

"The Imposter" is everything Stereotype Be should have been. Almost every song is gold.

"The Blood," a collection of old country praise songs, Johnny Cash covers, even a Prince song, with a whole bunch of amazing guest stars (including DC Talk. Oh, and Johnny Cash's wife.) This is my favorite album.

"Crashing Gates," while not my favorite, also a mostly awesome album. Gets a little more experimental at times, though.

Also, a lot of cool remixes floating around on iTunes. If I had to recommend an album, try "The Blood."
