Overall Thoughts:
Rock .. hard rock.. huge sound.. with some screamo within
I loved their sound.. very awesome! I will be adding them to my favorites!
It is a bit hard to firm set the finger on what each song is actually meaning.. but they certainly have a tale.. and most certainly sound great in the telling
Recording Thoughts:
pretty good.. probably professional
Stand Outs:
"The Answer" - probably one of the easiest to grasp (gladly they mention Jesus outright). The knowing that there is one out there .. "right in front of you" ... willing to forgive and live with you .. is an encouragement that is perfect for me.. and I would hope for anyone else! "your life is not over, its only just begun"
"Deception" - the instrumental ending to this song was superb!!
"More Than This" - being 'what we are' can sometimes be a downer.. but it is all about perspective.. what are you viewing.. what is your motivation.. great song.. great solos.. great, great, great!!
"Never The End" & "Surrender" - great songs about the love of our Savior!
"Moving On" - our past is carried within us.. no matter what we do.. how can we battle the mistakes in the past.. "Moving On" .. live now .. or as Christ put it "Pick up your mat and sin no more"
"To The End" - living life is a daunting task.. no matter how you slice it.. the idea is to keep a good attitude and enjoy it anyway.. having those that will stick with your through thick and thin is wonderful.. and this song portrays that type of relationship well.. (I actually had a bit of a moment thinking very much of LOTR .. with Sam and Frodo)
"Awake The Dawn" - ...wow... at the guitar solos here.. they are AMAZING!! Ear Candy!!
