Overall Thoughts:
Rough street type rap.. well done as well.. and there is a great mix of R&B sound throughout the album... nothing too annoying with the sound.. or the repeating of things.. though " I love you " gets close to it..
Recording Thoughts:
ok... semi professional
Stand Outs:
"Flowel" - at first I was about to talk about how this had way to much judgment, but then I realized that the song was about that very fact "What about the freedom in Christ" ... "The infighting is a tragedy" This is a cry to not fall back into the legalism of the Pharisees and the other religious people that Jesus cried Hypocrite to
"Left It All" - a very different thing to think about.. or sing about.. to sing about Heaven as if you are already there.. a fairly decent perception of it..
"First Born" - a pretty cool message sent from a father to a child before they are born.. a sure cry of life .. a sure cry of joy before birth.. as well the hope and dreams we put into our children
"Material Love" - a kick in the face to those that may be in this situation.. sometimes it is SO hard.. scratch that it is ALWAYS hard to swallow the things that are true about us that are not good.. God makes that easier.. but it still is not easy..
