Truegrass Hymns and More - He Hideth My Soul (Free Music, Review) @noisetrade #americana #bluegrass

^^Widget Above^^

For Fans of :  Yonder Mountain String Band, Jars of Clay, Josh Garrels, The Followers, Nickel Creek

For a sampler.. you get about a standard album's worth of music.. so.. that is nice

Overall Thoughts:

Their genre .. is totally in their name.. I could not say it better that "Truegrass Hymns" .. Great uplifting music.. any may even make you want to dance.. Centered on Christ (as most hymns are.. I am quite sure)

Recording Thoughts:

Good ... Semi-Professional & Professional

Stand Outs:

"Pain of Death" - may be my favorite on the album.. very much liked the sound of this one.. and it really told a story.. very cool! "Jesus made a way for all the world to leave" "Brother, you can have this victory!"

"New Creation" - the music here is very quick and sucked me right in!  Loved the message as well.. a standard message to be sure.. but such a fun and delightful way to bring it to 'light" in this song!

"He Hideth My Soul " - The acoustic guitar is played wonderfully here.. wow.. impressive!! And the message much like Moses that hid in the cleft .. great song!

take a listen ... get a download.. and TIP!!!

  1. Derek,

Thanks for the review of the Trugrass Sampler! We are so glad you enjoyed it. Truegrass is really just a group of friends that began playing gospel hymns in old age homes to minister to the people there. Over the years, we have recorded some of the songs we play and others we have written.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen and write a review.
