I am writing the review for Sail Away - a 5 song EP and The Broken Road a 3 Song EP

I am adding this (all the albums?) to my favorites! (reading Tim's Reviews.. he seems to agree with this )

Sail Away EP :

Overall Thoughts:

Quite Awesome Acoustic Worship music

Recording Thoughts:

Good ... Professional

Stand Outs:

"Undignified" - I think this song really captures that feeling.. or that desire to just .. go to God.. and get 'lost' in Him.. to just let go of everything else.. and just run hard for Him! As well .. the many voices .. with the bongo like drums.. really create a beautiful sound!

"Father's Embrace" - a great analogy.. though so close.. or better than reality.. as sometimes our fathers fail us.. Christ..Our Father in heaven.. will never fail us.. He is always there.. that safety.. that calming feeling.. is sometimes just what I need to move on forward!

"Back To You" - tuning stealing cookies to sins committed.. and trying to hide from God because of our mistakes.. the only way out... that brings you right.. that fixes the problems properly is to go back to God!

"I Know A Man" - .. wow.. powerful messages.. strong stuff! "Don't Buy into the lie"

The Broken Road EP :

Overall Thoughts:

Acoustic folk ... deep messages..

Stand Outs:

"The Love Letter" - such a sombre song.. so heartfelt as well.. the inspiration that another can impart on us.. that it can change us so much.. that if we listen to what our convictions tell us.. we can be that person.. it may take a reminder at times.. but Love.. God, The word of God can keep on track.. our hearts desires.. wow.. deep .. "Save me from me" ..

'Let Up" - So very encouraging.. an great reminder of the fact that God does not give up on us.. that we can always trust in Him.. no matter the beat down we give ourselves.. He will not "let up" on us..

"Be Still" - one of the most quoted verses in my house hold!  Beautifully put to song.. and truly .. it is much like the song above this.. but from the view point of God.. that .. we can just calm.. and He is there.. "I am here and I will never leave" ... " all who seek my face, will surely see" .. what a great God we serve!

Overall Thoughts:

This is truly a beautiful album. The heartfelt worship that Henry has captured in this album should serve as an example to each and every one of us what it means to be a child of God and what it truly means to worship. Each and every song on this album has something special to share. It's as if he opened up his quiet place and let us listen as he plays his acoustic guitar and sings to the king of kings.

Stand Outs:

“Father's Embrace” This song is beautiful. It expresses God's love in a poetic sort of way.
“Eye Has Not Seen” This song is a little long but it is a perfect example of what a true praise and worship song should be.
“Whatever You Want To Do” This is probably my favorite song on this album. It's basically a prayer for God to use him any way that he needs in order to fulfill God's will.
“You Just Love Me” It's a great song. See my other review for more about it. (below this one)
“All Over Again” This song seemed to me like a spiritual love song. It serves to remind you of the first time you entered into the presence of God and what it feels like every time after.
“Here I Am” If “All Over Again” Was a love song to God than this one was even more so. It is truly worthy of being the title track to this album. He truly expresses his love for God in this song as well as giving you a sense of what being in his presence is truly like.
“Low Enough” This song has a nice bluesy feel too it. I was a bit confused by the lyrics the first time I listened but I believe the message is that no matter how much we try to put God first in our lives there is always more room to let God in. In other words we should strive to put God first and foremost in every aspect of our lives every day.

Overall Thoughts:

This song is beautiful. The acoustic guitar melody really makes the song. The harmony is some of the best I've heard. The lyrics tell a great story. The song as a whole does an awesome job portraying God's love for us. Once the bongos kick in the song gets even better.
The Live version was great. You can tell it's heartfelt much more so than in the other versions. I did miss the bongos and the harmony but the heart and soul that was put into it more than made up for that.
The remix version was good but it was pretty close to the original with a little bit of a cappella singing at the beginning. It was well done regardless.

take a listen ... get a download.. and TIP!!!
