13 Song Mixtape
Overall Thoughts:
Little bit rough rap.. very strongly pointing to Christ.. pulling much from the bible..
There was not much on the album that I strongly liked..(except maybe "Free" , and the Invitation) the messages and points are decent.. but musically I found that many of the styles I just did not really enjoy.. mostly the thing I did not like was the excessive bass added to most every song..
Recording Thoughts:

Stand Outs:
"Fire and Rain" - very quick raps well put together about Christ.. though the heavy beats are VERY heavy.. in other words... too much bass when it is there.. I personally found it messing up what the song itself was already creating.. it had a very smooth and enjoyable sound.. until that bass is added..
"Wild One" - very confusing.. not the lyrics.. I just thought it was oven halfway through because of the change in beat and tempo.. but then it goes back to what it was.. really threw me fore a loop.. it does it again about 75% til the end.. and I am not exactly sure what they are saying.. and I do not think it is a 'bad' word.. but it sure does sound like one.. (context could be issue as well)
"Dear World" - talking strongly about Christ.. and flowing into what we should be doing.. being encouraging..
"Walk It Out" - Very clear and strong message.. if you say that you love God, you should live that way.. pretty powerful.. still in this one I did not enjoy the bass..
"Free" - very encouraging and uplifting song.. very good .. very good sound... just a carefree mood and is very smooth
"Invatation" (not sure if it was spelled this way on purpose or not) - this sounded great.. and was a great spoken message.. knowing that we can go to God.. and that He will guide us to our purpose.. very good stuff!!
"Just Listen" - I must admit that this was a very powerful intro.. it really grabs attention.. very much feels like a movie start.. (the actually movie score piece certainly helped with that)
