He started think ing of doing it one way.. Then another... He actually changed about five times... 18 verses on how Solomon starts to plan to build the temple

1-9

We know David could not build a house for the Lord, but now is the time while Solomon is in charge

No enemies are around him and he is getting the BEST to build the temple

10-18

They are ready to build the temple

One way to go with this is it is not so much about our past but our legacy.. But as well we should not be concerned about or early legacy but our spiritual one... Solomons temple is a legacy but it was not done for his purpose but for God's alone

For us... How do we build a legacy.. Godly legacy to leave behind?

1 cor 6:19,20

WE are the temple! Our bodies! God resides in us.. We keep it holy and pure... How do we do this?

1 these 4:3-7

We should be dedicated to God!

Titus 2:11-13

Deny worldly lists and have hope in the future with Christ

Proverbs 16:17

Aviod evil and guard your way...

These are a few of the ways to live for God

Called to be dedicated and Aviod some things.. Instead of trying to create a worldly legacy.. We should just live our lives for God and that will be our legacy

By our fruits we are known.. Others DO for their opinions by what they see

We do not just do it by ourselves.. We do it together...

1 Peter 2:1-5

Our thoughts on others our ourselves that are negative keep us from maturity

The many of us together joins as one.. Our differing functions are all important.. Together we for a great church to be an example to others..
