Christmas In A New Light ... Pt3

We are all prostitutes to God - so we need to be renewed, or 'painted away', but with this action there is nothing left; what is it that is accomplished through this?

We can now be transparent! We as a set of believers cannot rely on ourselves, feelings, wants, and needs; we MUST rely on that of God. That He can and will guide us - and through that His image will be that which takes our place, that whenever someone looks upon us - it is the Christ within us that is seen - and no longer the harlot. A good thing to note here is that we, as a transparent harlot, should look at others the same as ourselves, just another harlot learning and yearning to be painted away - striving to show Christ and not the colors of sin in our lives. We have CHOICE! As Christ told the woman caught in adultery in John Chapter 8, "I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more." It can be done, but it is the Christ within us that gives us the power. BUT what is Christ, how is it that He can be within us - why, when we are transparent, is it Him that is seen instead?

In an interesting way MC Psalmist tells this quite well - I cannot say 100% sure as of yet I am ok with all the lyrics chosen, I still 'see' the message of Christ!
