What are you willing to sacrifice to accomplish your dream?

Judges 11- Jephthah

He was driven off - worthless men joined with him
They raided together.
The people of Israel were under attack and they called for Jephthah to be their leader.

Things get insane when Jephthah decided to talk to God.
He asked for God to deliver them into his hand.
He defeated them and had made a deal with God that whatever came to meet him he would offer as a burnt sacrifice.

Unfortunately for him his daughter came to meet him.
She willingly accepted her fate after she mourned her virginity.
A lot of times we have to do things we don't want to but we must stand by our word.

God gave us his word to teach us what not to do.

Jesus was not the only human sacrifice but he was the perfect sacrifice.
Don't make a promise you aren't prepared to keep.
Don't compromise your integrity.

So what are you willing to sacrifice?

Are you living a life with upright integrity?
