The Beauty of A Wedding - Congratulations Peden and Savannah Barber (Blurb)

This past Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of a wedding party. I have done this before and have always enjoyed the experience!

This time though I was able to see the joining of two of the greatest young people I know into one super-awesome being of oneness with God as their core!

The rehearsal was fun - we had a good time and I was able to meet many of the people in both Savannah and Peden's lives. The food that was catered by Payton's Place was wonderful - and again I would like to point out that the company was wonderful as well!

It was an interesting time before the wedding getting pictures done (by my awesome wife - keep a lookout on her facebook page) and the distant sound of thunder booming outside threatening this indoor wedding with tiny disasters as everyone entered.

It did start raining (before the arrival of the bride) but all was delt with and went great. One of my newest friends (its official... It is on Facebook), David- Peden's brother, and I chose the task of escorting young and fair maidens and stout strong gentlemen from their cars under the cover of umbrella. It was a blast!

The wedding was beautiful, as it should be! We (the party of wedding-ness entered in the classic fashion... No dancing) and as we all filled into our positions and the ring bearer makes his way down the aisle I am sure that Peden was in the back confident as ever with his best man (his dad) strongly by his side, ever loving. They enter and take positions as the flower girl paves the way for the soon to be Mrs. Barber!

My legs and feet were already hurting - I swayed back and forth trying to find comfort in my borrowed, paid for shoes.

Savannah enters with her brother, Ronald, escorting her - looking quite proud and happy to be there! I am certain as her dad watched on from the hospital, due to the live Internet feed, he felt pride and love for those children! (I know that I did!.)

Ronald expertly 'gives away' his sister and Peden locks arms with Savannah - leading her to the altar/archway.

Peden seems to have something in his eyes - oh nevermind it is dripping out quite well on it's own!

(When I saw the onset of tears in the eyes of my future wife on our wedding day it was practically impossible to keep water in my face as well.)

I could tell Savannah's glossed eyes wanted the freedom of sloppy wet drip, drip - but by some masterwork of the Force or magical water magnetism the liquid stayed on the surface of the eyes.

The songs were probably three to four minutes long, but my feet hurt and my legs needed bending - I could only imagine the thoughts driving though the minds that were about to become one. Tears still flowed through the sensitive one and friends and family even got a nice laugh, perfect timing as stress is easily relieved with laughter!

Vows were exchanged and I must apologize because from my view I could only gaze upon Savannah. The back of Peden's head showed no emotion, but the eyes of Savannah were love in the purest of form. Everyone could 'see' the spiritual melding of two hearts!

I am certain that Peden had this same passion alive in his eyes! Unity occurred - a miracle - that starts in a with a few moments, but then takes a lifetime to finish!

Fruit will be ample from this union, and I do not exactly mean that of offspring, but a birthing of a strong center to have one another for continual accountability is a recipe for God to use to produce fruit in this world that counteracts that of the fruits that removed us from Eden.

We are the bride of Christ, do we have that passion and love for our groom?

A wedding really is a beautiful thing and I thank Peden and Savannah for giving us all a glimpse of what is in store for the whole of the church in heaven! Love you guys - enjoy each other and always keep Christ front and center no matter what!
