For Fans Of Kutless, Lifehouse, Switchfoot, Sanctus Real, Matthew West
Very rock - hard rock, but not too hard - maybe High Energy Rock, and as with some bands some songs are MUCH heavier like the one given free here "New Direction" and others are lighter like "5 minutes". So blatantly Christian life with crystal clear messages - THAT is what I like!
This is just one song from the album I have linked below - as well I have reviewed more of the songs by listening to them on Ian Warner's Facebook page.
"New Direction" - Are you stuck where you are? - Are you stuck being who you are? - Change CAN HAPPEN! You CAN begin to move in a "New Direction" , but you really have to grasp onto your own convictions for it to really happen!

"5 minutes" - which is a 4:10 long song - not sure why it is not 5 min long as that would have been pretty awesome. The idea behind the song is that 5 minutes is all we need to change - to accept Christ. It may take a LONG time to make it, but when you do it takes no real time - but then more time comes and you have to make the decision over and over - take that 5 minutes as often as possible to recheck your priorities!
"Grace Prevails" - the victory that WE gain by letting "Grace Prevail" within us. Interesting that we need to accept our failings, as our failings in order to actual not have to worry about them any longer! God's Grace is a powerful feature of who He is! Have you felt that power, that awesomeness! Remember "Grace Prevails"! Broken Bondage
"Don't Be Afraid" - a much more mellow sound to this song - picks up pretty good. Actually a POWERFUL SONG. I love the message here - I have heard it many many times about how often the phase 'fear not' is in the Bible. No need to fear - I am not positive if the song is actually about a person, but either way we should be there for one another and God/Christ is ALWAYS with us - never leaving us alone!
"Hope For Today" - This would be a song that I would LOVE to hear each day, just as something to pray alongside of (no ... not soft prayer music) just the words - the message - the asking of God here, it is what I need everyday... just a "Hope For Today"!

After listening to these songs I am getting the album, I hope you enjoy them too and decide to get it as well! Very good stuff!
