Twisted Optiks - H.E.A.R.T. (Free Music, Review) @twistedoptiks @noisetrade #rap #hiphop

^^Widget Above^^

For Fans Of  Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Sivion, Braille

Rap - rap that really captures some great Christian attitudes - This is actually a very uplifting album..

I will be honest and say that ALL of these are AWESOME - I would have liked to write something about each one, but I just picked a few!

Sometimes rap lyrics can become really odd and cheesy.. not with Twisted Optiks - everyone was cool.. and that word is not good enough.. they are great!

Stand Outs:

"Parable" - this is a testimony of life before Christ... or better yet the road to Christ in someones life (very likely the lead rapper)

"H.E.A.R.T." - Interesting way of encouragement here - seeing another's heart is only possible through action.. are you showing anyone that love?

"Crystal Clear" - This was crazy because when there was no rapping it was like listening to some kind of Jazz from the 50's .. interestingly different.. very neat!

"Her Name" - This may be the only one I did NOT like... and it was only the simple beat throughout the song that irritated me.. other than that this song was great.

"Lyrical Fasting" - A real look at the 'world' view on music.. centered on rap, but it is really true about all kinds - very awesome!

"Wake Up" - Just looking around... the Rosey glasses are on in full force.. it is just too easy to ignore all the things around us that can show us our world as horrible.. You can either - give up because of the HUGENESS of it.. or move to helping in any, even small, way that you can..

There is a free album download available on the bandcamp website "Ups And Downs Mixtape" I have downloaded it, but have not listened to it yet! I am sure that it is good - so go check it out!!
