"Devil In Me" - I LOVE the sound of this music ... the instruments and just the country ... folk feel to it all is brilliant!! The message on the other hand is a bit odd - on one hand I can see the idea of admitting within us lives the thoughts and temptations to do wrong - though it 'almost' seems as if in the way it is portrayed in the song.. as being something proud of... though .. ... I very likely could be missing the point - maybe just a blatant admittance of this is what someone needs at a time.. really, honestly that is true.. every once and a while we need to step out and admit that ... there is a devil in us.. that just wants us to mess up..
"Love To Hear" - really witty song .. about love.. and hearing about love. I like the rock feel to this song!
"Rely On You" - (Favorite) A great pop mix, and just fun theme with the music.. and the whimsicalness of the lyrics fit nicely. The battle between God and 'man' here is great.. really listening to this clears some stuff up from "Devil in Me" and really shows a progression of growth that all go through.. understanding the temptations and learning to rely on God in those situations - great song .. and reminds me of this simple (not so great, but ok) trick that I have on my youtube channel.
"Symphony of Silence" - a poetic title .. a concept I would think is more of .. in the silence you 'hear' God ... the still small voice.. do you hear it in the rush - slow down, be still, and know GOD is GOD !! This song is just beautiful!!!
