There is a free spirit in this music .. Very rough and full of heart. The recordings are not perfect, but they capture that raw essence of the music that is most of the time lacking when the music sounds 'perfect'
They did a great job with this album cover, because (even if this in NOT Jack) you cannot tell exactly what this guy looks like. I saw a few pictures of what I assume was him, and was NOT expecting this awesome of music coming from that guy. Very cool!! Short note - GREAT VOCALS!!
Stand Outs :
"Heartbreaker" - GREAT vocals here but the harmonica at the end of the song really shines!!
"God on our Side" - A very encouraging song with some awesome harmonica and electric guitar!!
"Ellen's Song" - This song was just wonderful!! if you need to know if you will like the album - listen to this one!!
