For Fans of : Jay-Z, T.I., Outkast, Lecrae
Has an old school rap feel to it - a good hard beat, just a tiny tiny bit too hard for me, but still good (I bet it would sound better in my car instead of headphones)
The mixes here certainly have Christ in mind and uplift the spirit of God - a spirit of thankfulness is in this music!
Stand Outs:
"Warzone" - a very different and rough sound - sounds a bit awkward, but it an odd way it gives the clear distinct feeling that you are surrounded by war, so that actually works with the message. This also oddly has a rock sound to it - very different .. not a smooth transition, just a brash ... STOMP into each
"Existing Without Living" - This is a great description of the attitude that fills the mind without God. At least it agrees with my feelings - it was easy not to care and do whatever I 'thought' I wanted to do
