Seeing a miracle would be a surefire way to begin to believe in something, and granted this is just a card trick with a fairly simple method - even so we want to believe in the miraculous because of it. Magic Tricks rely on the fact that we all want to be amazed and believe in something greater. Believing anyway ... because you just trust in God ... that is a miracle just in itself! (even Jesus said so)

John 4:47-49

Having heard that Jesus had come back from Judea into Galilee, he went away to meet Him and began to beg Him to come down and cure his son, for he was lying at the point of death.

Then Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and miracles happen, you [people] never will believe (trust, have faith) at all.

The king's officer pleaded with Him, Sir, do come down at once before my little child is dead!
