Overall Thoughts:
A very different type of sound for rap .. acoustic ..
Recording Thoughts:
Pretty Good ... Professional
Stand Outs:
"Sweet Sixteen" - troubled teens.. and the troubles of abortion .. a reality certainly .. good thing is that God is forgiving.. so, very forgiving - but let is not "pile on grace" just because!
"In The Beginning" - From the perspective of God and moves to a Man's perspective.. (at first I was confused) .. but really .. this was cool.. I liked the beat here. .slow .. If you listen to it fully you can grasp the concept, but it really is kind of odd at first.. and it got into race as well.. oddly enough not something I have heard much in Christian rap .. (DCTalk did it much, but in my experience.. I just do not see it .. like it was in the past)
"The Altar" - very different.. it really was like we were just listening in to a prayer at the alter.. it was not overtly 'rapping' but almost more of a spoken word instead.. I did like how he went into forgiveness of others and the drive to be on 'speaking' terms with God was motivation.. honestly asking for forgiveness.. well done!
