Overall Thoughts:
A very different feel of genre.. maybe the best I could describe it would be .. folk/funk.. maybe.. or .. 70's.. 80's .. at times a very country twang, or .. even hymn like - or even just being a hymn all together.. The messages are a bit hard to grasp.. but they do seem to stay centered on God and Biblical things.. life in general
Recording Thoughts:
Pretty Good ... Professional (but it seems to have an older feel to it.. that was likely intentional)
Stand Outs:
"Overwhelmed" - deals with the issue of faith.. and it's power.. and our basic inability to grasp it.. or.. is that so? That we can be 'powered' over by the awesomeness of God.. that we are so.. powerless.. and instead of taking in defeat all together.. we give that to God and take Christ in.. accepting the very love that "Overwhelmed" us within
"Sweet Submission" - a hymn feel here .. very good song.. very reverent and giving God glory.. well. from one complacent and taking for granted.. moving toward that 'Sweet Submission" .. to giving into what God has instead of what we try to plan and create .. let God work through you!
"Just A Closer Walk" - very good version of this.. awesome vocals!
