Six Song Album

Overall Thoughts:

An alternative rock sound... though.. a bit harder though.. I actually felt as if the music seemed to drown out the lyrics enough that I had a hard time grasping the messages of the songs (it was ever so much on the line with this..)

While I did like the album.. I did not find any songs on it that really popped out as totally amazing..(though "Sparrows" & "Oil Spill" come terribly close) and I think it is entirely possible that it is because I did not really grasp much of the meanings. 

Recording Thoughts:

Good ... Professional

Stand Outs:

"The Shepard" - hard to grasp understanding due to what is noted above.

"Oh Brother" - it sounded a bit like the tower of babel story.. 

"Glorious" - almost a worship song.. but .. not .. really.. 

"Sparrows" & "Oil Spill" - I found these to be the most understandable.. and I really was able to get into them.. I would have to say.. at this point.. these are my favorite of the album!
