26 Songs

Overall Thoughts:

Tons of songs.. wow.. (there is a catch though.. the songs are only about one minute long..which makes me think that they are just samples) rap with Christian themes.. some interesting transitions between songs.. not exactly a good thing for downloaded mp3s (I think this has more to do with the short songs.. seeming like they are actually being cut before they are actually finished).. it could makes them sound odd individually..(i did test a few and actually they sounded fine)

So in the end.. this seems to be an album of samples.. there are tons.. though the way they are together.. it feels strongly like a crazy person.. as quickly as it changes and moves to each thing..it was easy to lose the messages in the quickness.. you may be just getting the one you are listening  to and then the next one has started .. if you are wanting to check out a buch of artists.. this is a great album to get and sample them out.. I would not recommend listening to them back to back though.. as you will not actually enjoy them on their own merit.. take some time between each track to really see if you like them.

As a note .. Sho Baraka is part of all of them.. which does make me wonder about my conclusion above.. anyway.. I think I covered it all well.. whether it be an album in its own.. or just a very odd sampler.. There is much that sounds really great.. and some that are just ok.. but nothing at all that is bad.. so .. enjoy

Recording Thoughts:

Ok ... Professional & Semi-Professional

Stand Outs:

Glorious - Great message.. certainly.. all about lifting up God.. much about the revelation mentioned .. 'holy, holy, holy'.. although.. I really did not like how the song.. seemed to fade . .back and forth through it.. very disturbing feeling while listening..

"The Church" - great beat.. and the lifting of Christ.. standing up to be the church.. to do the work of Christ was really good!

"Fools Gold" - liked the beat.. liked the message.. very good song

"What Do You Pursue" - The concept of quoting ' American scriptures ' .. when you look it at another at angle....

"Back Up" - I liked this message.. of 'being able' to do the work of God.. but also the concept of falsity in the person doing it.. be real.. really lift up Christ if you are going to 'pretend'.. you will 'lose your soul'

"I Love Music' - did NOT like the beat to this song.. very distracting..

"In Ya Hood" - Andy Mineo was hilarious in his shout out here.. lol ..

take a listen ... get a download.. and TIP!!!
