Overall Thoughts:
Very slick quick and intelligent lyrics.. Much of it Christ centered.. really cool stuff .. is every song going to start with the same intro? (answer.. no.. but maybe more than half.. )
Recording Thoughts:
Pretty Good ... Semi-Professional and Professional
Stand Outs:
"Diggin Your Grave" - about pulling your life out of the 'trash' and getting off the things that are dragging to 'your grave'.. pretty cool.. pretty quick.. though not so much that you do not understand... and the message at the end is a pretty good message.. though I see wisdom in teaching properly the ways of the world.. (do not be offended, ;) lol)
"Otis Got Saved" - really awesome rapping.. but honestly.. I did not find it fitting well with the backing track.. maybe without the other sampled track singing in the background.. it may have been better.. oh.. and the screaming at the end... yeah.. no fun (there may have been a point, but I did not get it)
"The Motto Swag" - Karate Kid reference.. slick!!
"Real Talk" - very cool beat.. and some of the best rapping on the album.. may be my favorite.. CHRIST ON TOP!! " I'm addicted to His love, because it gives me revival"
'Wild Boy" - very cool ... concept before salvation... and then there is change.. and call in it to have others accept that change.. to change for one that really covers all sin.. awesome
"Amen" - really down to earth concept about having 'victory' in the world and thanking God..
"I'm Beaming" - cool rap all about getting saved and the joy that is birthed from it!
"Made It Through" - while it is a hard story... the encouragement comes by knowing that he made it through.. that God could move in and still touch a life and make it blossom into something much more beautiful!
"Outro" - great claim of purpose there at the end.. I hope all that listen learn and grow from it.
