2 Samuel 20 (yes.. that is it)

Short recap.. Israel and Judah were fighting over the king (and feelings apparently got hurt)

There are 'bad things' being said about David.. which is kind of breaking up the men.. 

The women defiled by Absalom were provided for but were no longer of the 'station' that they had been

Amasa was 'late' in his duties... and this caused his death? .. Savvy actually spoke on how this really dealt with her because she was dealing with her own tardiness issues..

Joab then goes on to a city an .. long story story. .receives the head of the man he is after..

Chapter 21

A famine enters the land .. in response to Saul?.. We had some questions about why this is happening now... (after reading it myself .. I can see that God is just using it to be sure that David moves on to retribution) 

David gives the Gibeonites the descendants of Saul to gain 'forgiveness' and likely end the famine.. (duly noted that Johnathan's son was spared due to the oath made between them)

and finally David and his men killed these (possibly last) giants
