For Fans of :     Jars of Clay, Charlie Peacock, Sandra McCracken, Sleeping At Last, Elenowen

11 Songs

Overall Thoughts:

Some pretty big heavy hitters that have been a part of Noisetrade at some part.. mostly .. a very interesting and certainly well done Christmas album .. very cheery and uplifting.. much like any Christmas album out there.. seeing the names on it you may figure out it is heavy in folk .. and that  there are some originals in it.. as well as a few classics

The 'Mission' In itself is better than the album 1000 fold ..

taken from "About Section":

" Blood:Water Mission was established by Grammy Award winning band Jars of Clay to empower communities to work together against the HIV/AIDS and water crises in sub-Saharan Africa. Since its launch in 2005, Blood:Water has raised millions of dollars through the creative efforts of individuals seeking to make a difference. To date, Blood:Water has partnered with more than 1,300 communities in Africa, providing life-saving water for 800,000 people in 11 different countries and access to HIV/AIDS education, treatment and support for nearly 40,000 people."

Recording Thoughts:

Very Good ... Professional

Stand Outs:

"Mystic" - I have never heard this... very folksy .. not strongly Christmas.. but good music

"The Answer" - again.. not so much Christmas.. although.. Love.. is the answer .. and certainly at Christmas time as well

"Snow" - the artistic look at the seasons.. the renewal .. very smooth and beautiful vocals..

"Bring A Torch, Jeanette, Isabella" - Interesting.. different.. still set for nativity.. but. .I have not really grasped the true message in this one

take a listen ... get a download.. and TIP!!!
