For Fans of :     Marc Cohn, Mac Powell, Bebo Norman

10 Songs

Overall Thoughts:

Contemporary feel...very deep vocals that really get your attention..encouraging!  Some very much worship more than just song but all centering on Christ. And yes he really is close to Mac Powell

I have added this to my favorites

Recording Thoughts:

Good ... Professional

Stand Outs:

"Sink To The Bottom" - I like the desire to see life from other points..and to understand that we are all in need of love

"Gonna Be There" - So uplifting and encouraging...a great rocking song and message.

"One Life" - one of my most favorites on the album.. such a great beat.. and the message is perfect..

"Prodigal" - a common parable told in song form.. this seems to be from the Father's eyes... desiring the 'return of the prodigal' ... beautiful desire here.. really showing God's love and desire for us to be with Him!

'Dirt" - WOW.. amazing tale of the down trodden... the need for a Savior and the hope that Jesus is all of ours!!

"New Life Waiting" - very cool.. all about the hope and truth of the future of a New Life.. whether it is new life in Christ here.. or as well even after Salvation we have the hope of new life.. after death.. so either way.. this song fits nicely

'Trust and Obey" - a common hymn.. sung VERY well.. sombre and reverent... beautiful!

"Beautiful Broken World" - awesome telling the tale of Christ and the purpose of it... maybe not extensively detailed in the reason... but the showing of the truth that He stepped into our world for our forgiveness and the ultimate healing of each of our souls through the shedding of His blood and ultimately the resurrection.
