I guess with that I will start with one of my old poems .... enjoy
This poem was written right before I acceptied Christ and the poems contintinue through salvation and through the first few years of growth - they may give you an interesting perspective of who I was .... or not ....
A Nighttime Miss
I do not see you here,
But yet I feel you near.
Your soft body is now by my side,
But your breath I can not seem to hear.
I would ask why not you speak, but I bid,
In my mind, I do believe and confide,
You should be here but I am not sure,
I think, why and how could this occur,
When I hold you tighter you just compress.
I wonder now why you just not ranter,
For this must not be good impress,
Cause you could not live this compress.
(it may be confusing but if you imagine one laying in a bed holding a pillow - that may help)
