Barak (not the president) was called to build an army to attack the commander, Sisiera. He says he will go, but not alone. Because he does not do as called, the victory then goes to another.

God through the enemy into panic, giving the army of Barak victory. (against 900 chariots) (he did this with 10 thousand warriors - yeah no wonder!)

Later Sisiera was tricked into sleep and killed (go read it, very interesting death)

Even though Barak did all that he did for his victory , someone else got the glory ftw.
