Sean Demars - Snippets(Free Music, Review) @Noisetrade

^Widget Above^

For Fans Of Lecrae, shai linne, Cross Movement, Flame, Stephen the Levite

I am not sure if by 'Snippets' it means that these are really just samplers(I lean toward, 'no'), they are pretty short(not all of them) - even so they are quite good, hard hitting (a usual thing with this type of music) Gospel/Rap that is pretty well done!

(UPDATE - Here is a link to The Final Cut of this Mixtape)

The Stand Outs:

"My Life" - 'So please excuse the abrasiveness' almost as a disclaimer, this line is NEEDED in pretty much every 'mixtape' I have ever heard.  If it is rap ... Christian rap ... it is going to step on your toes and likely offend you in some way, though in the end he turns to what Paul said/wrote - not exact words, but seeing "Life" as a faith based movement becoming like Christ everyday more and more.

"Uncertainty" - A thanking of Christ for what He went through for us

"Amber Song" - A pretty awesome story about how he and his wife came together! awesome showing of love!

"Lindsey Song" - A tragic life in a dark place, is there really a hope after a life that is destroyed by sexual sin? I like the way that that Sean talks about this in this song... yes.. talks about ... Good Stuff. Sin is sin, and I am glad that Sean did not decide to only FOCUS on the sexual sin (the song may be about that, but he just talks about SIN)
