For Fans Of Josh Garrels, Shawn McDonald, The Civil WARS
heavily acoustic, and keyboard ... very much in the folk genre - strong sensible lyrics, that just make sense and He is on the border of rapping at some points (more like Shawn McDonald is on the verge.. but that's about as close)
Much of the music has a worship like spirit to it - very reverent to the Lord - crystal clear sound, nothing I can say negatively about the recordings!
Stand Outs:
"Hide Me" - "In The Shadow of Your Wings" ... a common statement, taken from the word of God - ... interesting that in 'shadow' we can have peace and feel safe.. under wing... take someone 'under wing' .. it is more secure than you may think
"Faithful" - songs about the names of God are always so revealing... so open ... God is so many things - all at once!
"Sing Over You" - If I had heard it anywhere else.. I would have thought it was sung by Shawn McDonald... the guitar playing is very much the same styling that Shawn uses as well - really smooth sound!!
Great sound here - good solid worship - you will probably like it - if you do not like it, I was not wrong - you are ...
