"Shrek In Spanish"
An infamous moment in our lives if I do say so myself... followed by a demon being touched by an angel.. and our marriage.. well .. that was a bit quick..
When Mel and I met we were both dating different people.. that may sound odd, but if you listen to it right - it makes sense. As we got saved and changed and grew closer to God we became better and better friends. I went off to college at Auburn and after a few various things a thought came to me.
"I could marry Mel.."
I could and God told me that she would be my wife. So I prayed hard about it.. then God informed me that she needed to pray about it to. I asked if she would mind praying about the POSSIBILITY of us in a relationship. She told me no.
MONTHS after that initial no.. and as well many, many emails and prayers.. something happened. A group of our friends got together at Mel's parents house after THE GLORY AND THE FIRE and watched movies. We watched Shrek, Miss Congeniality, and Shrek again .. in Spanish. During the second showing.. Melanie and I kissed for the first time. (oh yeah.. the answer to praying about our relationship was still no.. lol)
Bestest friends.. kissing.. and not caring about the world around them.. yeah.. I enjoyed Shrek in Spanish :)

hey, that's not totally true!!!! I agreed to pray but that I didn't want a relationship then and I didn't think it'd work. :)
