Overall Thoughts:

This album is epic. I've tried to think of another word to use but epic is the only one that seems to fit. If there is one album out there worthy of such a word though this one truly is. It's filled with powerful songs and music. The artistry portrayed in each and every song could be considered masterful. You can tell that each and every member of this band loves the lord. You can hear it in the music as well as the vocals.

Recording Thoughts:

Good ... Professional

Stand Outs:

“You Are Holy” The bass guitar in this song gives it a western feel. I can almost see the tumbleweeds roll as I walk into the sunset. At some point it loses the western feel but it doesn't take anything away from the song. It's truly a great praise song.

“Come and Awake” is a powerful song. The Intro or makes it even more so. It's basically a call for us to awaken to who we are meant to be in Christ and a prayer that God will awaken us.

“As We Reach” This beautiful song about faith. It's also a sort of prayer to God to honor our faith as we reach out to him.

“Hallelujah” is one of my favorites from this album. I love how they made this classic a true praise song. It has a slight folk song feel to it.

“Upon Your Ways” is another great song. It's rare for someone to write a song in a minor key and that's one thing that gives this song so much appeal. Not only that but they found a creative way to use an accordion. I didn't realize until after writing this that this song also has an intro or as they call it in the album an “Interlude” That is where the majority of the accordion is but without it you don't get the same feel for the song.

“Immanuel (The Light)” has a different feel to it than the other songs at least in the beginning. It's beauty is no less than the rest though. It's much more gentle but it's still a powerful song. It starts off with an acoustic guitar but eventually builds up to the same level most of the others do.

“At Your Feet (Live)” is a great worship song and brings the album to a nice close. It's stays pretty calm throughout and the acoustic guitar is the main instrument.
