(This is the first of, hopefully many reviews that is mostly written by my friend Tim.  If it is in blue.. it is him - otherwise it is me. You can check out his blog HERE : www.timinabottle.blogspot.com and follow him on twitter @Sid_Viper )

8 Song Album

Track 7 (Separate)  is missing from the download and won't play in the widget.

Overall Thoughts:

I found this music to be quite refreshing. It isn't so much rap as it is gospel. It brings a light and fresh feel to it's genera. It's easy to listen to and the tracks are put together well. The vocals and harmonies are great and the album shares a great message.

Recording Thoughts:

Good ... Professional

Stand Outs:

The album seemed to use a bit too much synthetic sound. Or perhaps it lacked a little in the area of mastering. The one thing that really bothered me though was the auto-tune-like voice mod he uses. There are actually times when I enjoyed that sound but in the beginning of the songs it was a little hard on the ears.

"I Jus Wanna B Where You Are" - A simple message.. with a catchy beat.. a great techno .. rap type mix.. maybe not much rap as Tim says above.. maybe more.. quick R&B.. if that is a thing

"The Voice" - a pretty awesome R&B .. with a great message.. just hearing from God.. very cool.. very real as well..

"Surrender" - Going from the soft and smooth of "The Voice" to the quick and hard pace of this .. was unsettling.. this is no bearing on the songs themselves.. just how I felt while listening.

"Separate Skit" - this was odd.. but I have good reason to think so.. since the song that should have followed it .. did not come with the download for some reason..

take a listen ... get a download.. and TIP!!!
