Overall Thoughts:
Christian Rap - a good street type beat.. very simple and easy to understand.. easy to get into .. very smooth.. great mixing
Strongly showcaseing Christ, but in a pretty 'new' way.. I have not heard too much rap like this.. that is good in a gereral way.. and as well captures Christ so strongly.. besides maybe this album http://derkopenedeyes.blogspot.com/2012/05/mike-o-state-of-mind-music-review.html

Stand Outs:
"Keep off The Median" - just the .. well ... I guess it would be the chorus .. is really clever.. very well spoken and pretty great message.. awesome beat.. just the way he segways.. very cool!
"I Won't Back Down" - very encouraging.. certainly a Game Face song.. when you may feel weak.. you could get this into your head and move forward again for Christ!
"Cap Down Low" - another really bumpin' beat.. very catchy.. and the lyrics.. so well placed together.. great pulling for Christ.. and just giving an attitude of standing firm in faith
"This Ain't That" - this had a very, totally awesome beat mix.. very pleasant to my ears!
"For So Long" - another that just grabs you and pulls you to keep going.. to do the Lord's work.. to do things right.. HIS way.. and just.. encouraging!! AWESOME! !
"Grind Time" - very cool sound!! well mixed! "It took grace" ... " It took faith" ... some good strong bible pulls..
"Run" - first 10 seconds are annoying.. album skipping sound.. blah.. beyond that .. even when there is the odd stops.. they actually sound pretty cool with the song..and I could even see the artist reason to make the song this way.. the desire to get away from our former selfish desires.. but sometimes we halt.. and want to go back.. imagine being God and listening to that .. stop.. go.. still.. pause.. go .. run hard.. stop .. pause.. slow down..
"Let's Work" - again.. keep moving forward.. encouraging .. uplifting... and getting butt in gear kind of music ... " Let's Work .. head up high .. and you walk with your chin up... tired of garbage."
"All I Can Do" - not the best mixed.. actually this may be my least liked of the album.. a bit too rough
"Don't Quit" - do I even have to say it.. GREAT MESSAGE!! and yes.. the beat grabbed me for certain!!
"The Rain" - more of a calm rap.. almost a worship song.. though.. rap.. and I have the same thought about Rain.. such a cleansing thing.. I have always enjoyed praying and praising in rain..
"Stories" - while the stories are a bit hard to swallow.. not things you want to hear about.. but truth is truth.. the terrible exists.. and as well.. I really liked the beat to this.. slower here .. and I really liked the dj like record scratching when those parts were there.. coolness .. even goes into the story of Christ.. well stated as well .. very cool
"Not 4 Sale" - then out of left field we get an acoustic.. electronic.. techno beat type mix.. while not one of the best on the album.. it sounds pretty good anyway!
